These iPhones use the same 1284 × 2778 size, so the same wallpaper fits: iPhone 14 Plus, iPhone 13 Pro Max.
On iOS 27 the standard Lock Screen clock ends about 618 px from the top, roughly 22% of the screen. Keep faces and the main subject below that line, or switch to the compact or tall clock in the preview to see how they change things.
The iPhone 12 Pro Max wallpaper size is 1284 × 2778 pixels, which matches its 458 ppi screen exactly.
iOS zooms photos that are not 1284 × 2778 or that have Perspective Zoom turned on. Save the wallpaper at the exact size and turn off Perspective Zoom when you set it.
On iOS 27 the clock ends about 618 pixels from the top. Anything above that line can be covered by the date and time.
