On iOS 27 the standard Lock Screen clock ends about 630 px from the top, roughly 23% of the screen. Keep faces and the main subject below that line, or switch to the compact or tall clock in the preview to see how they change things.
The iPhone Air wallpaper size is 1260 × 2736 pixels, which matches its 460 ppi screen exactly.
iOS zooms photos that are not 1260 × 2736 or that have Perspective Zoom turned on. Save the wallpaper at the exact size and turn off Perspective Zoom when you set it.
On iOS 27 the clock ends about 630 pixels from the top. Anything above that line can be covered by the date and time.
